Three companies that are part of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc., Merry Maids, American Home Shield, and Terminix, have earned the Women’s Choice Award for 2015. This award is given to companies that score highly on national surveys that are conducted annually among 250,000 female consumers. This year, 27 companies have been selected to receive the Women’s Choice Award and every company chosen was spotlighted in a full page ad in the May 11 issue of USA Today.
“This recognition underscores how important it is to appeal to a wide range of audiences and to consider the buying decisions of women in our marketing and customer service plans,” according to Rob Gillette, CEO of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. “We’re delighted to see three of our brands among some very well-known companies that are being recognized.”
It is very important to appeal to female consumers as according to womenschoiceaward.com, approximately 85 percent of consumer purchases are made by women. The majority of women, around 70 percent, work outside the home as well which makes their opinions on quality, service, and value even more important. According to Delia Passi, CEO and Founder of the Women’s Choice Award, “When a woman is willing to stake her reputation on a recommendation, it means that brand has earned her loyalty.”
